Not on view

This nearly half-length portrait shows the sitter within and oval stone frame. She has feathers in her hair and wears a lace scarf crossed over her bosom, fastened with a brooch. Her bodice is trimmed with black lace and she wears an anchor ornament on a cord around her neck. The print is based on a full-length version engraved by Richard Purcell after Carle Vanloo (Chaloner-Smith 27; there is an impression of the latter at the British Museum).
