This collection of ten original woodcuts by Czech-born artist Bohumil Stibor depicts stages of a concentration camp from arrest to imprisonment, torture, and genocide. This privately printed set was bound at the Emil Spongl bindery in Pelhřimov, Bohemia in March 1946. Watson Library is one of three institutions worldwide to own this rare set documenting the genocide during the Holocaust (other copies are at Stanford University and the National Library of the Czech Republic).
