The Metropolitan Museum of Art partners with Boomerang to help return lost items found at the Museum. To report a lost item, please submit a claim through Boomerang. If your item is located, Boomerang will reach out to you with instructions on how to claim it.
The Met is not responsible for items left behind, lost, stolen or damaged. Please note, found items are held for 15 days from the date the item is turned in. After 15 days, unclaimed items are donated or disposed as per Museum policy.
