Featured, is a novel combination of a fan and a parasol, functioning as a sunshade. It is a compact object that would have been as easy to carry as a fan. The fitting that allows the parasol to fold down is related to the marquise parasols that can be tipped in different angles for flirtation as well as shading from the sun.
