Robe

Department Store A. Sulka & Company French

Not on view

This robe was made by one of the leading makers of men's clothing, A. Sulka & Company, known for its silk. It has a very bold presence because of the densely saturated printing process and the large scale pattern. The subtle difference in the unprinted areas such as the lapels and the belt shows another feature of high refinement, and the thought required for expensively made clothing.
