This day dress encompasses the spirit of the modern woman. The 1920s were a liberating decade, as women became more independent, changing their role in society. The tubular silhouette was in vogue, as well as a shorter skirt, rising above the ankle and eventually above the knee. This piece would not only have been stylish, with its Art Deco design, but also easy to wear, allowing the woman to engage in any activity that might happen throughout her day.
