The first etched plate carries the inititals 'BGIF' (Bartolommeo Gazale inventi e fecit) followed the publishers details 'Apresso Gaetano Bianchi.' Bianchi also apparently engraved the title page. The plates are all of a uniform size and numbered upper left I-XVI.
