Series consisting of a title page and twelve prints showing frieze designs decorated with acanthus scrolls and various figures. The series was first published at an unknown date in Venice by Tasio Zancarli. Copies of the series in reverse were then engraved by Luca Ciamberlano and published in Rome by Giuseppe de Rossi in 1628. In 1636 they were subsequently published in Amsterdam by Claes Jansz. Vischer, he followed the direction of the Roman prints, but decreased the size of the friezes significantly.
