The publication comprises 17 relief and intaglio prints re-printed from the original matrices. The collection was published by the Universitaria de la ciudad de Mexico on 10 February 1943. They were printed in the workshop of the Escuela Nacional de artes plasticas by the students Marcelino Ezeta and Carlos Lugo. The collection has a Prologue by José Rojas Garcidueñas with decorative vignettes by Carlos Alvarado Lang. The date 1943 does not reflect the original date the plates/blocks were made.
