Not on view

A well-dressed woman accompanied by two children stands next to a seated poor woman who holds a baby outside a crumbling cottage. The youngest child offers a coin and the group is attended by a Black servant boy. Behind is a landscape that includes a distant view of a great house. A proof of the print was exhibited at the Society of Artists in 1782.
