Possibly by Hogarth, this print illustrates a travel book by the French author Aubry de La Mottraye. This vignette used to adorn a large image containing a map. The so-called Muscovites are actually a Circassian who offers to sell two Circassian maidens to a Persian. The man at right is a Nogharian Tartar.
