Aerial view of a garden with four rectangular parterres with clipped inner corners. Two wide, insecting paths form a cross-shape with a circular basin and fountain at center. Each parterre is decorated with scrolling tendrils. From a series of six plates with designs for ornate garden designs with parterres. The series was included in the collected works of Marot published in 1703.
