Two vertical panels with soldiers on horseback in an encampment. At left, two figures seen from behind, riding left. At right, a figure in the foreground with a bundle of wheat. In the background of both, a fortified city with clouds of smoke. From a series of six plates with decors with fireworks, created in conjunction with the fireworks display on the Hofvijver in The Hague. The series includes eight panels depicting the military success over the French and Spanish armies in 1702. First published in that year, the series was also included in both editions of the collected works of Marot, published in 1703 and 1712.
