Technical description: "fantastical" violin, wing-shaped soundbox extending perpendicular to plane of strings, eight strings in pairs (four overspun and four wire), eight oblong metal front pins (four on tailpiece and four on head), one diamond shaped soundhole and one circular soundhole with rosette, carved and painted decoration echoing shape of soundbox, metal reinforcement plate on head, metal plate below bottom bridgel reflex scroll.
