Yidaki (didjeridu)
Nonggirrnga Marawili Australian
The yidaki, a form of the didjeridu, is played by indigenous Australians by buzzing their lips into its long tube, creating a low-pitched drone. This example was decorated by the contemporary artist Nonggirrnga Marawili using geometric patterns associated with the Djapu clan of her husband.
