Chalice fragment
Third Intermediate Period or later
This fragment from the rim of a chalice is decorated with a narrow block border, then an upper register with water lily flowers and leaves. The small part preserved of the main band of decoration depicts the upper part of a Hathor-headed sistrum flanked by papyrus plants.
See 26.7.971 for a complete example of this type of relief chalice.
