Plate 7 of the series 'Livre Nouveau de Prinsipes d'Ornemens', consisting of a title page and seven plates of rudimentary ornament designs to instruct (young) artists in how to design and delineate ornaments. This plate consists of three horizontal panels with designs made up out of simple rocaille ornaments, shell motifs, flowers and acanthus leafs. The center panel also incoporates a monster's head.
