Plate 11 of a series of designs for doors and mantel pieces. This design presents a mantel piece. Around the fireplace are guilloche bands. Over is a scene in a rectangular frame. This scene represents figures throwing things into a fire. On either side are vases with flames. Over the frame is a round frame surrounded by a garalnd of laurel and ribbons.
