Plate 4 of a series of various designs for vessels and ornaments. This plate shows grotesque creatures. On the left is a creature with a large bird body, a very long neck and a grotesque humanoid face holding the tail of a wyvern in one of its talons. On the right is a sphinx with a very long neck playing with two young satyrs. The tail of the sphinx turns into a vegetal scroll.
