Plate 18, View of the Arch of Constantine, in the Rome, with a carriage passing through the central archway. Many of the monument's famous reliefs and statues are visible in this view of the arch. Below this plate is a smaller image, titled "Partie d'un Bas relief antique existent dans la courdu Palais Justinien," with two fragments of friezes. These two images appear facing page 24, the first of two pages of text describing the Arch.
