Plate 35, View of the remains of the Baths of Diocletian (Thermae Diocletiani) in Rome, with groups of figures and animals scattered in the foreground before the building. The Church of Santa Susanna (far left) and the Carthusian Chapel of the Basilica of Santa Maria degli Angeli e Martiri are visible in the background at left. Below this plate is an unnumbered image titled "Peinture antique trouvée dans les Thermes de Tite, representant l'interieur des Bains selon l'usage des Anciens." These two images appear facing page 60, the third of eight pages of text describing the Baths of Diocletian. The preceding plate 35 (Plan of the Baths of Diocletian) also relates to this thermae.
