Drawing, design for a man's costume for the musical 'At Home Abroad', premiered in Broadway, New York, on 19 September 1935, with stage production and scenic design by Vincente Minnelli. The costume, possibly for a circus performer, consists of a black and white checked shirt with wide sleeves and white shorts, worn over red tights with high-heeled, pointed-toe, white anke boots. The male figure represented wearing the design has short, black hair and a thin, elongated, scrolling, black moustache.
