Drawing, design for a man's costume, part of a group of 88 costume designs by Vincente Minnelli. The costume, designed for 'The Show Is On,' which was staged by Minnelli in 1937 for the Shulmans, consists of a long, brown overcoat with black trimmings and cuffs, over a white shirt and green boots with chevron pattern executed in black. A black top hat and small, black bow tie complement the look.
