Drawing, design for a woman's costume, part of a group of 88 costume designs by Vincente Minnelli. The costume was designed for the scene 'Jam Session', from the production 'The Show Is On', created for the Shuberts and performed in Broadway in 1937. It consists of a white street dress made up of a hip-length coat with broad shoulders, long sleeves and peplum skirt, and mid-calf pencil skirt, worn with a hat with a thin feather and long gloves.
