Drawing, design for a man's costume, part of a group of 88 costume designs by Vincente Minnelli. The costume consists of a red shirt with white dots, a green cloth belt tied around the waist, white wide pants, worn over white socks and black espadrilles, and a wide-brimmed straw hat. According to comments made by Vincente Minnelli in 1978, this costume was designed for the number '(Island in the) West Indies' in the show 'Ziegfeld Follies of 1936,' produced for the Shuberts in Broadway.
