Drawing, design for a man's costume, part of a group of 88 costume designs by Vincente Minnelli. The costume consists of a police uniform made up of a blue jacket with golden buttons and star, and matching blue trousers and hat; the figure holds a billy club. According to notes on the reverse of the drawing, copied from the original mount, the costume was designed for a police officer in 'Ballad of Babyface McGinty,' in the show 'Ziegfeld Follies of 1936.'
