Plate 18, View of the chamber in the interior of Columbarium of Livia, discovered along the Via Appia in 1726 and now destroyed. Groups of figures are gathered in the chamber, including one on the staircase at right. Below this plate is an unnumbered image showing a sculpture of a lion. These two images appear across from page 18, which contains a portion of the chapter describing the Columbarium of Livia.
