Though the three women wear identical headpieces featuring small white loops, only the first two at left and center wear identical dresses with a ruffle around the bust, large circular patterns around the skirt, and floral motifs along the trim. The third woman’s dress is similar, but features white trim along the ruffle and a different pattern around the skirt. The three women stand with their left shoulders toward the photographer and their left arms resting across their waists, as if to display their bracelets. Each woman wears several long necklace strands in addition to a choker that is thicker is design. They stand on a dirt ground, in front of a backdrop made of a fine woven cloth adorned with geometric shapes and arabesques and finished with a tasseled fringe.
