Not on view

Illustration of a black dress and a blue travel coat, part of the 43rd issue of the "Journal des dames et des modes", published in Paris on August 1, 1913. The illustration features a woman, traveling on a train, wearing a long, black dress, under a dark blue travel coat. She wears a royal blue and black hat, and matching royal blue high-heeled boots, cream gloves, and a white handkerchief with black polka dots tied around her waist. A dark blue suitcase lies to her right, and she rests her arm on it. A yellow book and a thin bundle of pink flowers on stems with leaves lie next to the suitcase on the train seat. A cage containing a bird (parrot?) with colorful feather is placed in front of them, on the floor.
