Illustration of an afternoon outfit, by Brunelleschi, part of the 46th issue of the "Journal des dames et des modes", published in Paris on September 1, 1913. The illustration features a woman wearing a purple jacket with a floral pattern executed with pastel shades of blue, purple, pink, and green, with white ruffles on the neckline and cuffs, and with a low cleavage, going deep into her waist, which is in turn emphasized by a thin, royal blue belt, tied with a ribbon bow to her right, and a royal blue, narrow skirt, with a purple border featuring a larger version of the pattern in her jacket. Her head is covered by a light blue hat with green border, royal blue ribbon, small, white rosettes, and two red antennae over her forehead, and her feet are covered with royal blue high heels with rosettes of a lighter shade of blue. She wears a necklace with blue stones and a pendant made with a larger blue stone, and a large ring on each hand: one is made with a red stone and the other with a green stone. Her eyes are heavily covered with black outliner, her lips with rouge. She stands on a garden or park, a balustrade with vases with plants far behind her, reclining on a column with a vase holding a green plant with small, pink flowers, a thin branch scrolling around it, ending with a bundle of green leaves and pink flowers on the floor.
