Third plate of album with 60 19th-century costume plates and 1 drawing of mostly women's historical costumes, featuring a variety of designs for traditional costumes from different parts of the world, as well as costumes for literary characters, such as Esmeralda. This plate, titled "Mauresque", contains a design for a female Eastern costume, made up of a figure-hugging, hip-length, short-sleeved jacket made with purple frabric and bordered with pieces of white fabric with golden borders and gold embroideries with semi-abstract moresque patterns, with a yellow, draped fabric tied around the hips and decorated with vertical intermittent black and orange lines, and with black and orange tassels. Her hair is pulled into two long braids, tied at the ends with purple ribbons, and decorated with a purple hat with white and gold borders. She wears large, hanging gold earrings and several gold bangles on her arms. Her feet are covered by low-heeled purple shoes with golden buckles in the front.
