Page of book containing 185 leaves with a collection of lithographs, aquatints, engravings, and other media, with ornamental designs published by Fleury Chavant in Paris, part of the publication "Guide du Dessinateur de l'industrie: une macédoine de dessins variés , tels que fleurs, ornemens, etc. ... Ouvrage destiné aux fabricants et dessinateurs de soieries... et Papiers Peints..." This plate contains ornamental designs with scrolling branches with trefoils of three leaves and bundles of rosettes. Upon one of the S-scrolls stands a small vase with two handles, holding a bundle of rosettes, flanked to the sides by three leaves, and another S-scroll is flanked above by two scrolling, scallop=edged leaves, on which stands a branch holding a bundle of large, coral-shaped leaves and two rosettes. On the lower left corner of the sheet are some Greek scrolling motifs, upon which stands a bundle of rosettes and leaves, and a straight branch with scrolling, thin, elongated leaves, crowned by an U-shaped garland of pearls. On the upper-right corner of the paper is a pyramid motif made up of alternating striped sections and sections with dots. The designs are executed with black ink on thin, light brown paper.
