Fourteenth plate of album with 20 pochoir pattern plates, titled "Samarkande: 20 Compositions en couleurs dans le Style oriental" (Samarkand: 20 Color Compositions in the Oriental Style), created by E. A. Séguy and published in Paris by Charles Massin around 1914, presenting an ornamental design, probably for textiles or wallpapers, with semi-abstract flower motifs, inspired on the Oriental styles created by the artists of Samarkand. The design is made up of vertical, undulating, groups of dark red branches, separated by dark gray stripes, flanked alternatingly by a thin, scrolling, dark red branch with thorns, semi-abstract exotic flowers with dark red petals around dark gray and pistils with white spots, and thin, long, scrolling leaves, colored with gold, and surrounded by semi-abstract, dark gray clouds with scrolling edges, flanked by small, dark red spots, on a sand-colored ground.
