Marble bowl
Technical analysis: Ultraviolet-induced visible light luminescence
This shallow, rolled-rim marble bowl is intact except for a minor chip at the rim. (1) The same reddish-brown accretion covering the entire surface of the bowl is also present in the chip at the rim, indicating that it most likely was broken in antiquity.
