Friends of Medieval Art and The Cloisters

The Friends of Medieval Art and The Cloisters is designed to bring collectors, devotees, and others who are passionate about medieval art and gardens into closer contact with the collection, curators and horticulturalists of the Department of Medieval Art & The Cloisters. Annual dues support the Museum and the Department, funding a wide range of projects, including operating expenses, programming, installations, conservation, and garden maintenance. The Friends are invited to behind-the-scenes events led by the Department's staff on a variety of topics related to the collection and exhibitions.

Annual Dues: $10,000 (a portion of dues is tax-deductible)

Benefits

Friends of Medieval Art and The Cloisters also receive corresponding benefits of Patron Membership at The Met, including:

  • free, express admission to all of The Met's locations with up to four accompanied guests;
  • special access to the collection and new exhibitions during Morning Hours, Preview Days, Evening Receptions, and The Met After Hours;
