Retouched Blade

A blade is a piece of flint that is twice as long as it is wide. Small removals along the left side show that the shape of the blade was intentionally modified. Because the tool does not conform to a formal tool shape, it is known as a retouched blade. The pointed end could have been used for perforating, or the thin sharp lateral margin could have been used for cutting relatively soft materials.
