Costumes Parisiens 117: Veste de velours broché, bordée de Kobinskey
Illustration with a design for an embroidered velvet jacket with Kobinskey border, part of the 52nd issue of the "Journal des dames et des modes", published in Paris on November 1st, 1913. The illustration features a woman wearing a hip-length, light blue jacket with embroidered semi-abstract floral motifs of a darker shade of blue, with black fur on the neck, the cuffs and the borders of the jacket's body, over a long, narrow gray skirt with train, a gray hat wrapped around by a long, yellow fabric, and with blue high heels with small, gray buckles. She holds a small mirror on one hand, and uses the other to put rouge on her lips while looking at her made-up face on the mirror. Her auburn hair is cut short, revealing her hanging black earrings.
