Derrick Adams invites visitors into a participatory art-making activity, Finding Derrick 6 to 8, a time-based performance engaging Sol LeWitt's Wall Drawing #370. Adams is a multidisciplinary New York–based artist working in performance, video, sound, and 2D and 3D realms.
Tauba Auerbach

Join artist Tauba Auerbach as she examines a selection of books in The Met Libraries' collection from her unique perspective. Auerbach's artistic practice engages a variety of mediums, ranging from book design and painting, sculpture, weaving and photography.

Create your own digital drawing inspired by objects in the European Paintings galleries. Gannis is a visual storyteller who works in many mediums—digital painting, animation, 3D printing, drawing, video projection, interactive installation, performance, and net art.

Experience a unique display of movement, song, and storytelling as a dancer illustrates the works of Divine Pleasures: Painting from India's Rajput Court—The Kronos Collections. Puri is a classical dancer, who specializes in a form of danced storytelling.

Esteemed artist Faith Ringgold reflects on her artistic practice and shares her advice for young artists. Ringgold is a painter, writer, speaker, mixed-media sculptor, and performance artist.

Join the artist as he guides participants to bring the sculpture on view to life. Sevilla is a dancer, educator, and the director of the Dance Education Laboratory at 92nd Street Y Harkness Dance Center.
Marisa Williamson

New York–based performance artist Marisa Williamson takes participants on a tour of the American Wing period rooms while embodying Sally Hemings, enslaved woman of mixed race owned by President Thomas Jefferson. The artist's creative projects explore and examine historical spaces as sites of physical and psychological objectification through performance and video.
Benjamin Work

Engage in a dialogue with the artist as he describes how the themes and imagery of objects in the Oceanic Art galleries intersect with his own practice.
Work is a New Zealand–based artist of Tongan (Tu'anekivale) and Scottish (Shetlands) heritage whose visual language references historical narratives particular to Tongan culture.
