Join poets from across the country as they reflect on the objects, themes, and ideas presented in the exhibition Hear Me Now: The Black Potters of Old Edgefield, South Carolina, which features approximately 50 ceramic objects from Old Edgefield District, South Carolina, a center of stoneware production in the decades before the American Civil War. The poets perform work created specifically in response to the exhibition, within the exhibition space.
