Nursery on Schenkweg

March–May 1882
Not on view
Van Gogh's first commission came from his uncle C. M. van Gogh, an art dealer, for drawings of views of the Hague, where he was then living. This large view of a nursery close to Van Gogh's studio was among those he sent to his uncle in May 1882.
