Design House Yeohlee American
Designer Yeohlee Teng American
fall/winter 1993–94
Not on view
Yeohlee, one of the most intellectual designers of the 1990s, often plays on pairings of opposites, even as simple as black and white but inevitably complicated by internal/external, exposed/hidden elements. She refers to clothing as shelter and has been associated with sculptural design, but her paramount interest is always in the ethic and the intellect of the garment.
