Diamantbrokat, Marke Exzellenz
"An exceptional large-sized sample book including 73 gorgeous samples of multi-coloured paper, each printed with gold, silver, bronze, or other metallic colours, on paper of different vibrant colours. These precious Art Deco papers were probably produced to be used as covering material for boxes and cartons for luxurious goods (like perfume, cigars, or chocolate). The designs are very gaudy, modern, and diversified. Nothing could be traced about the company. The logo on the front wrapper of other copies is a gilt lobster (though lacking here). Dated later in pencil to inner front cover '1936' " -- Daniela Kromp, Rare & Unique Books.
