From Jungle Gum (R78), issued by World Wide Gum, Co., Boston. 48 numbered cards in set. Cards feature color images of exotic jungle animals from around the world. Name of animal printed on front and brand of gum printed in pink box at lower edge. Images were taken from the 1910 T29 Hassan Animal series set. Back includes text for pictured subject printed in green. Card back notes that there are 192 cards in set -- in fact, just 48 were produced with the first 24 cards sequentially numbered from 1 to 24. The next 24 cards start at 25 and are odd-numbered through 71.
