Amon viene qui raffigurato mentre impugna una spada a forma di falce come garante della vittoria in battaglia. Questo pezzo in oro massiccio, che pesa quasi un chilo (900 g), era probabilmente utilizzato durante le cerimonie religiose. Sul retro della corona si trovava un anello oggi spezzato, anche se si tratta di un oggetto decisamente troppo pesante per poter essere utilizzato come gioiello; forse pendeva da un reliquiario rituale a forma di imbarcazione oppure era infilato su una corda e portato in processione da un sacerdote. L’anello avrebbe anche potuto avere una funzione legata ad antichi costumi reali o immaginari. Sulla corona c’erano anche due piume, ora distrutte, che completavano le insegne tipiche di questa divinità.
