騎士道物語図小箱
この箱の蓋に描かれたアーサー王やその他の宮廷の物語の場面では、隠喩である『愛の城』を武芸競技会や騎士がバラの花を投石機で飛ばして攻撃するところを表しています。前面には、ピュラモスとティスベ(右)の悲劇からのふたつの胸を締め付けるような場面と、アリストテレスの教えを受けるアレグザンダー大王、そしてアリストテレスに背負われるフィリス(左)の場面があります。箱の両側面は、トリスタンとイゾルデ、ユニコーンを仕留める狩人、貴婦人を助ける騎士、そしてお城の鍵を受け取るガラハッドが描かれています。さらに裏面にはランスロットとガウェイン、そして救助者である騎士たちを歓迎する乙女たちの場面があります。
