カノピックジャーと蓋

ミイラの内臓を納めるこの格調高い壺は、現在カイロにある3点の付属品とともに、王家の谷の墓第55号で発掘されたものです。墓からはこの他にもアクエンアテンの親族のために作られた、不可解な埋葬品一式が出土しました。4つの壺の表面から削り取られた名前は、専門家による解読の結果アクエンアテンの側室キヤのものであることが分かっています。しかしながら蓋はどれもきちんと閉まらないため、元々はセットではなかった可能性があります。
