雲中龍文経箱
永楽帝の治世に製作された磁器、漆器、その他の素材の美術品には、力強く曲がりくねった龍がよく登場します。中国で巻物として書かれた経典を入れるためのこのような美しい箱は、宮廷で使うためだけではなく、特にチベットへの外交的な贈物として作られました。この時代の彫漆器は数多く伝世していますが、漆の表面を彫り、金または金色の顔料を埋め込んだ象嵌細工の作品はまれであり、金属の鍵と鍵穴が現存する珍しい作品となっています。
