북부 콜롬비아 시에라 네바다 데 산타마르타 산맥에 살던 타이로나족이 제작한 이 작품은 아메리카에서 발견된 금 주물 중 가장 크고 복잡한 디자인의 작품입니다. 입체적인 형상과 크기를 자랑하는 이 펜던트는 어깨가 넓은 남자의 모습을 묘사하고 있습니다. 귀족 또는 족장일 것이라 추정되는 이 남성은 정교한 나선형 무늬에 측면의 짜임 장식이 두드러지는 거대한 머리 장식을 쓰고 있습니다. 머리 장식 위에는 거대한 부리의 새 두 마리가 앉아 있습니다. 세밀하고 정확하게 조각된 작은 코와 귀의 장식품, 아랫입술의 장식물은 타이로나 무덤에서 발견된 실물 크기의 작품과 비교할 수 있습니다.
