차우파르를 연주하는 시바와 파르바티: 라사만자리 시리즈의 폴리오
이 회화는 바누다타가 15세기에 산스크리트어로 쓴 연애시 라사만자리(기쁨 체험의 본질)를 표현하는 삽화 연작 중 한 점입니다. 이 연애시는 나야카(남성 주인공은 사랑하는 사람)와 나이카(여성 주인공은 사랑받는 사람)의 분위기와 감정을 표현하고 분류하는 것이 중심 내용이며 연극 예술에 관한 최초 논문인 바라타의 나탸샤스타라에서 유래하였습니다. 대담한 채색과 모호한 공간구성에 의해 활기가 넘치는 이 장면에서 파르바티는 차우파르 게임에서 남편인 시바의 속임수로 목걸이를 잃은 후 남편에게 애원하고 있습니다. 인물의 자세와 색채의 상징적인 사용은 이시기 바소힐리 화파의 특징입니다.
