원숭이 문양이 있는 잔

이 잔은 귀족 식탁용으로 제작된 중세 에나멜제 잔 중 현존하는 최고의 수작 중 하나이며 널리 알려진 인간의 어리석음에 대한 이야기를 전합니다. 잠을 자고 있던 상인이 원숭이 떼에게 강도를 당합니다. 잔의 하단부에 원숭이가 옷을 벗기자 일어나지 못하는 상인이 묘사되어 있습니다. 상인의 짐을 훔쳐 간 다른 원숭이들은 나뭇가지에서 신나게 놀고 있습니다. 이 외에도 진기한 그리자유 에나멜 기법을 사용한 작품이 몇 점 현존하는데, 모두 부르고뉴 지방 여러 공작의 저택과 연관됩니다.
